Located in the heart of Winchester, Hampshire, facing the Cathedral, The Minster Gallery shows figurative, semi-abstract and abstract paintings and sculpture by contemporary British and international artists. As well as a continuously changing display of work by its core artists, the Gallery organises periodic one-man shows, group exhibitions and exhibitions on specific themes. Art in the heart of Winchester!
After an exciting year with solo exhibitions by Stephen Brown RBA, up and coming London-based Constance Slaughter, Winchester-based Jenny Muncaster, and the Out of London Show of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours. Our first exhibition of 2012 was a solo exhibition of new paintings by Japanese artist, Masako Tobita. This will be followed in May by an exhibition of work by Marc-Antoine Goulard in his London Studio. Then back to the Minster Gallery in Winchester for new work by Bristol-based artist, Nicholas Turner.
At all times and throughout the year, we also display new work by our gallery artists.
