Peter Dixon

" 'You never see our Pete without a pencil in his hand' - my Mother circa 1943. I have always painted wooden boats and cold seas because that's what I like doing. Mum, and all my Aunties and Uncles - also Granparents - came from Whitby. Auntie Ettie had a Fish & Chips shop, and cousin Frank a pub. I was born in the London blitz day and still paint my wartime memories... I don't have a sketch book or a camera. I paint what I feel. I paint what I like... always have... always will."
